Julie Einarson is the owner and operator of Sweet Escape Cake Cafe and Bakery. Julie received a diploma in Commercial Baking from Red River College in 2000, graduating at the top of her class. She had worked in various bakery settings, from large retail chains to smaller family owned bakeries. Since moving back home with her family to Thunder Bay in 2007, she has steadily been baking for friends and family and has outgrown her current kitchen! Julie is currently working on finding a perfect location for her cafe. Sweet Escape will be offering cakes and sweet goods to take home or to be enjoyed at the cafe. She’s hoping to create a great place to hang out with friends and enjoy a slice of cheesecake – or two!
Toni McDonald is the creator and operator of Natural Paths Healing. Her services include Biofield Energetics, a form of energy medicine that works directly with the human energy field to eliminate illness/dis-ease causing energy patterns present in the energy field before it fully manifests in our physical body. Natural Paths Healing will also offer Colon Hydrotherapy and Nutritional guidance to create healthy cleansed/detoxed insides that allow clients to reach and maintain optimal health and healing from the inside...out. Toni completed an intensive training course in colon hydrotherapy in North Vancouver in 2008, as well as a three year practitioner program at Langara College in Vancouver, British Columbia in the field of Integrative Energy Healing in June 2010. Leanne Wierzbicki has watched as her journey unfolded over the last 8 years, taking her from one end of the spectrum teaching high school English, History and Psychology for two years, through the middle as a personal trainer, fitness competitor, and too many 50+ hour weeks of management at fitness facilities, to the opposite end where she landed after becoming a certified Yoga teacher in June 2009. Since then she has been living a compassionate, eco-conscious, non-toxic, vegetarian to vegan lifestyle and feels healthier in mind, body and spirit than she ever has. With a calling and magnetism to Thunder Bay and the North, she returned for her 3rd time in 2010, working as an independent contractor offering in-home private Yoga. Just over a year later she opened Breathe Live Believe Green Yoga & Spiritual Studio. Breathe Live Believe is a unique studio in its commitment to Green Yoga and as a space that unites all forms of spirituality as One. It offers a variety of multi-leveled Yoga classes, private Yoga services, a Green Yoga Shop, and most importantly a space for like-minded individuals to gather and develop a strong sense of community. The studio practices Green Yoga, a practice that translates the 5000 year old moral teachings of Yoga into living a sustainable and green lifestyle, one in which we not only learn to purify and transform the body, mind and spirit, but one where we take those teachings off the mat and into the environment. www.breathelivebelieve.com
